My wife Anita and I engaged Sandra Munier as our estate attorney in 2004 to do our family trust. At the time, things were fairly complicated and she did a terrific job putting it together. As part of the trust review, we developed durable powers of attorney for healthcare and finance for Anita and I which in retrospect made it quite transitional for me when my wife developed Alzheimer’s and couldn’t handle her affairs. After being married 55 years, we found that she would have to be placed in a long-term care facility. Sandra was very helpful in helping me steer through the pitfalls and help me find the right resource to gain Medicaid.  In the process I learned much about Medicaid that I did not realize. She has worked with us for the past 16 years and helped us steer through several estate issues and has always done a terrific job for our family over the years with our living trust and subsequent changes to it along with other needs.
